Biography

Claude de Muzac is the pseudonym of Claude de Broglie. Born in Paris in 1935 as Claude de Dalmas, she married Prince Guy de Broglie in 1962. She opened a store in Paris and named it Claude de Muzac (using the name of one of her mother’s properties) to retain anonymity. She created frames and pedestals to display art objects. She opened another store across the street to sell jewelry she had designed with semi-precious stones. She closed her shops in 1997.
